Day Two

Souvenir dragon, bought from Germany: orange fabric, filled with sand.

I was bleeding – bit too old to like cartoons, I thought.
I still bought it, a shameful reminder of ”Mulan”.
I said it was because of my Chinese Zodiac sign: I lied.
I threw it out in 2020 when I turned 30 for real.

On paper it had been two years earlier.
After 30 you can´t serve anymore.
Do I wish I had kept it?

May it find its way back to me in a new form!
